Most of you have never heard of Eternity Funeral Home but most of you have heard of: Sammy Davis Jr., Mary Wells (Singer), Sam Kinison ( Comedian)(Restoration), John H. Johnson (Ebony Jet Magazine), Junior Wells (Blues Singer).

Mr. Kenneth Walker has served thousands of families and has been behind the scenes as a trade embalmer and restorative artist for hundreds of Diverse Funeral Homes from California to Illinois.

While at his Grandfather's funeral at the age 9, Kenneth knew he wanted to be an undertaker; but was afraid to tell anyone because he felt people would think he was weird. Kenneth started cleaning funeral homes, washing cars, running flowers, making removals, assisting on funerals and finally achieving his dream of embalming.

After attempting to enroll in Mortuary Science School in Illinois. Kenneth traveled to California in 1991 and enrolled at Cypress College in the Mortuary Science Department. This is where he was awarded the Hilgenfeld Award. At this moment Eternity Funeral Home was born.

Throughout his calling Kenneth has mentored as well as been mentored by some of the greatest undertakers there are. A Lot of his mentors have great things to say about him.

Isaiah Jones from Jones Funeral Home located at 3240 W. 79th Street Chicago said "Brother Walker (Kenneth) is the best Restorative Artist in this State" Ferdinand Range from Range Funeral Home of Joliet said "I've known Ken for about 30 years. Ken is the man you call when you have cases you can't figure out. He is the problem solver."

Richard Delgado of Delgado Funeral Chapel of Joliet Illinois said, " Kenneth is the best embalmer in the world". This is a testament that Kenneth is living his dream and walking in his calling.

Being a professor of mortuary science for many years has given him the opportunity to teach and train some of the brightest students that have followed in his footsteps.

Mr. Walker has worn many professional hats. He's worked 7 days a week for over 100 hours weekly. The only thing that helped him through his 12 hour shifts, was thinking about the families he would serve. This shows that Kenneth loves his families and wants to assist them during the most difficult times in their lives.

Walking in His gift, purpose and passion lead him to meeting the love of his life❤. Mrs. Walker has become his biggest fan. She sees how he goes above and beyond the call. Making sure his families are covered on every aspect.
